Five On The Hill

We went to a restaurant called Five on the Hill, and it was an amazing experience! The place itself is beautiful, with a lovely outdoor setting that makes for a great vibe. The manager/hostess was incredibly welcoming, and our server was even more amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and patient, answering all our questions without a hint of frustration. Even when other guests seemed to try to make her feel uncomfortable, she stayed professional and kind—it was clear she genuinely cared about making our experience great. I wish I remembered her name, because she deserves so much recognition! Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made it a fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We came here to celebrate our New Yorker niece’s birthday, who went to Universal during the day so we ended up looking for a decent restaurant near the area. We were a party of 18, and overall was OK for our group size. The place had Instagrammable ambience, however, the food was just mediocre. Our waiter was just OK. He made a mistake in one of our orders and instead of apologizing, he made it sound like it was our fault. He ended up correcting it in the end. There was a valet parking available from the hotel nearby , but I didn’t realize that there was also a self parking which would have been cheaper available.

I took my girlfriend for her birthday, our first time. Martin was incredible, putting up with all our small inconveniences as if they were nothing. His suggestions for the Lobster Scampi and Toffee Bread Pudding were Chefs Kiss. All margaritas were made perfectly, and the wine fit perfectly with the Scampi. 10/10 in all aspects...best restaurant I've visited in LA so far, will be returning.

This was my first time here. I reviewed the menu before hand. I thought I was not going to like much on the menu. To my surprise the items that our party ordered was good. The place is next to the Hilton hotel. It was a nice day to be outside. We were celebrating a family members birthday day. I would visit this place again.

First time here for my girlfriend birthday week. Food is great atmosphere is amazing with all the flowers on the ceiling. Service is awesome. The taco flights and drink flights are great as well.

Yesterday was our first time there. It was amazing. We loved the food and the ambiance. The bread pudding was to die for. The GM stopped by and spoke with us. Great guy and very attentive to customer experience. We're going back for brunch this morning...which was freaking amazing!!! Last night our waiter was Ryan...super cool. Today...Tony...otherwise known as street hot dog guy. We love this place.

This was my 1st time here and it was decent. I had excellent service from Mayan, she was friendly and helpful. The views were not that great compared to how I thought it would be. I saw mostly trees and views of the hotel pool. The menu did have more options than I thought... they just weren't listed. I did not realize this restaurant is apart of the hotel and you could order sides(eggs, sausage, etc). I order the pumpkin seed crusted chicken with corn polenta. The plate was pretty, meat was flavorful but the dish was not very filling. I also ordered the mango madness, BEST DRINK EVER!
